We can match you to teachers educated to Masters level with experience of the Secondary Syllabus, and Third Level syllabi up to QQI level 10, or Therapy for many neurodiverse needs below. Private One-to-One lessons are 30 minutes long and cost €25 per session. *
*We offer One-to-One lessons in Ukulele, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Piano, Banjo, Mandolin, Vocal Coaching, Drumming, Junior and Leaving Certificate Grinds, Music Technology, Pre-Entry Exams to College.

*Our Music Therapy spans all of the Neurodiversitys including Autism, Dysmusia, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, ADHD, Epilepsy, Migraines, Visually Impaired, etc.

*We are not accepting new students for Creative Media Support: for '24/'25: Music Technology, Wed Design, Game Design and Coding up to Masters Degree and Ph.D. Supervision, however we will continue supporting current students.

Group lessons are 30-45 minutes long and cost €15 per session.*
*We offer Group lessons in Guitar, Ukulele, Junior, and Leaving Certificate Grinds.

*Classes Take place Monday - Friday 3pm - 8pm

*All sessions are booked and paid for in advance - in blocks of four weeks, not monthly, as students would miss classes following a school academic calendar.

*Students taking lessons at DMA become members with a range of discounts and benefits included in your lesson fee depending on your choice of lesson e.g. Support changing strings, support with instrument study for Leaving Certificate, Tech Support, etc.

Guitar Lessons

Our most popular stringed instrument. Lessons offered in Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Classical Guitar and Bass Guitar.

Piano Lessons & Keyboard Lessons

The curriculum is designed to build a solid base of music theory and a broad musical knowledge. It is emphasised, those attempting exams must first complete two terms, particulary with online lessons.

Drumming Lessons

Learn about different time signatures, samba drumming, African beats, jazz drumming, world drumming, not just pop and rock styles. When you enter into an ensemble know how to have your kit tuned correctly, learn from seasoned experts at DMA.

Mandolin Lessons

With such a variety of instruments in this section please contact us for a discussion on which instrument it is you wish to study. Stringed instruments will always be on offer - with many musicans trained in more than traditional, particularly in Ireland.

Electric, Acoustic, Classical, Bass Guitar

We teach all style of guitar. Our teachers on hand have experience at Primary, Secondary, Further Education and we support all performance exams at RIAM/VCM and College Entrance exams at 3rd Level, up to Masters & Ph.D. Supervision. We have an in house Luthier in our Workshop even, and a Sound Engineer for Amp Repairs. Check out our Workshop in the link above.

Ukulele Lessons

Common types of ukuleles include concert, soprano (standard ukulele), tenor, baritone. People have always been fascinated with how such a small instrument can fill a room with so much happiness on its own.

Junior & Leaving Certificate Grinds, College Entrance Exams

We support students from their first theory exams, to school exams and college exams up to B.Mus. and B.A. Music. Regardless of instruments we have teachers on hand with experience at Primary, Secondary, Further Education and 3rd Level, up to Masters & Ph.D. Supervision.

Banjo Lessons

Interested in another instrument but don’t know where to start? We teach Bluegrass, Clawhammer style banjo, the basics of 4 string. Some tab, chords, trad and the differences in 5 string.
